Saturday, March 31 – We will be working with volunteers from Janney, Montgomery and Scott in Bethlehem on the restoration of the Lehigh River shoreline at the Sand Island Native Plant Preserve. This is a big effort and they need all the help they can get. Volunteers will be planting shrubs, grass plugs and other plant material along 250 feet of the Lehigh River shoreline. I will let everyone know what the time is when I find out. Most likely it will be in the morning. Lunch will be served following the cleanup.
