We are headed to Knoebels Theme park in Elysburg this Saturday, July 23rd! Come with us as we travel to America's largest FREE ADMISSION Amusement park! Just pay for the rides you want to go on! Most rides cost .75 - $1.75. They also have Pay One Price Plans to ride all you want for a flat charge, with prices dropping dramatically at 5:00pm.
We'll be meeting at 1:00pm at Ruthie's house- 2420 W South St, Allentown PA 18104. and will be leaving from there promptly between 1:00 - 1:15. The trip will take us about 2 hours. Leaving later in the day allows us more time to enjoy the park later in the afternoon and evening when the weather is not as hot. The park is open till 10:00! We'll leave to come home when the majority of us want to, we'll have no set return time. Don't worry about dinner, according to Food Network, Knoebels has some of the best food of any amusement park in the country!
We'll need people willing to drive!! Since we are saving money on admission as there is none (PARKING is FREE too!) it shouldn't be a problem for each of us to pitch in a 5 spot or so for gas/mileage to the person/s willing to drive!
