Are you ready for Christmas? If you're like me, you've already skipped past Black Friday and are looking ahead to a real reason to celebrate.

I'm extending invitations to attend A Lehigh Valley Christmas in Concert at Allentown Symphony Hall. The event begins at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28. Local musicians will perform renditions of holiday tunes through several musical genres, including folk, jazz, classical and popular music. (You can view the artists here.)

Tickets are $35.

Naturally, I would like to purchase in advance since there is risk of sell out. I was advised by the Hall that if we reserve tickets one week before, we should be good. So I need a response by Monday, Nov. 22.

I also understand there are several restaurants in the area of Symphony Hall offering price fixed dinners before the concert. Allentown BrewWorks is one. If anyone is interested, I can arrange.

P.S.: Given the timing, I have canceled the Sight and Sound option (see blog post below) for Nov. 27. But I am still willing to schedule a Dec. 11 trip if people would like to go. If interested, please contact me at tom@abcya.org
