Are you ready for Christmas? If you're like me, you've already skipped past Black Friday and are looking ahead to a real reason to celebrate.

I'm extending invitations to attend A Lehigh Valley Christmas in Concert at Allentown Symphony Hall. The event begins at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28. Local musicians will perform renditions of holiday tunes through several musical genres, including folk, jazz, classical and popular music. (You can view the artists here.)

Tickets are $35.

Naturally, I would like to purchase in advance since there is risk of sell out. I was advised by the Hall that if we reserve tickets one week before, we should be good. So I need a response by Monday, Nov. 22.

I also understand there are several restaurants in the area of Symphony Hall offering price fixed dinners before the concert. Allentown BrewWorks is one. If anyone is interested, I can arrange.

Join us for our monthly holy hour at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel 3219 Santee Road Bethlehem, PA 18020. We will gather at 7 pm for Adoration, Evening Prayer and Benediction. We willl have a social following.

ABCYA is sponsoring a family thru the17th street clinic of the Lehigh Valley Hospital for the Christmas season ,our family we are sponsoring is a single 18year old mom who is going to college,and working fulltime ,and she has a daughter who is1 year and 5months old. I have a wish list for both mom and daughter some items for example the mom would like : shirts, winter coat, hat/gloves ,pajamas, for the daughter some items are: socks, tee shirts ,fruit snacks also gift cards to local supermakets and department stores are welcomed.
